Do
you pay for my travel and lodging when I schedule
a visit to a property?
No.
Once we connect you with the seller, all arrangements
are up to you. There are some sellers who will include
a travel package as part of your visit. We will tell
you about these when we talk to you.
I
am from outside of the United States. Do I have
to visit the property in order to purchase?
No.
You can purchase "sight unseen" if you
choose. If you are seriously interested in a property
and would like us to take additional photos or a
video we would be happy to discuss that with you.
Do
you market properties in other areas of the United
States?
No.
We specialize in the Blue Ridge Mountains only.
Where
are the Blue Ridge Mountains?
They
run from northern Georgia, across the western end
of South Carolina, up through North Carolina, and
into West Virgina.
I
moved to Florida to get away from the snow up north.
But I miss the hills and cooler temperatures in
the summer. Is there an area that can offer me
the best of both worlds?
Yes,
there are portions of the Blue Ridge Mountains that
rarely see more than a dusting of snow. That is one
of the reasons we like to talk to you, to find out
what it is you really want. |
Is
the Letter of Qualification required?
Yes.
We guarantee our sellers that we will only connect
them with buyers who are qualified to make the purchase.
Where
do I get a Letter of Qualification?
You
can go to your bank or to any mortgage company. We
also have several mortgage partners who can do this
for you. There is generally no fee.
If
I decide to purchase a property, can you arrange
financing?
There
are 3 options: 1) You can obtain financing on your
own, 2) you can work with the seller, or 3) we can
connect you with one of our mortgage partners. Be
sure to read the page on Financing.
Can
I visit several properties when I plan my trip?
Yes.
We will work with you to identify several properties
so that you can make a full day of the visit.
What
if I don't like the property when I get there?
You
are under no obligation. If the seller has other
properties that you may be interested in, you are
encouraged to check those out as well.
